A native of Brazil, Andrea Silverio has performed in Brazil's premier concert halls and has acquired a vast experience playing in orchestras since the age of 17. Andrea has won a number of competitions throughout her career, including first place in the São Paulo Chamber Music Competition and second place in the MTNA competition. She was also a winner in the University of Southern Mississippi Band Concerto Competition, giving her the opportunity to perform Pasculli's "La Favorita."

Andrea is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Michigan State University. She holds a master's degree from Louisiana State University and a bachelor's from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her principal teachers include Jan Eberle and Johanna Cox Pennington.
