I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT BRINGING MUSIC TO COMMUNITIES THAT WOULD OTHERWISE NOT BE EXPOSED TO IT.
Dominic Hayes is an orchestral and freelance horn player based in Michigan. He is currently a member of both the Dearborn and Adrian Symphony Orchestras, and performs regularly with the Toledo, Ann Arbor, and Battle Creek symphonies. He has also performed as a soloist at the CHIME Festival at the University of Chicago and at the Society of Composers Inc. National Conference.
Dominic has worked to bring his skills to communities that under represent the arts. Growing up in rural Michigan, Dominic had few opportunities to experience live professional music. He personally understands the importance of bringing the performing arts to communities that would otherwise not be exposed to them. He has helped put together educational concerts, masterclasses, and coachings for dozens of schools, aiming to show students what classical music looks like up close.
